The Truth About PLA membership Sites.

What on earth is going on?

Every other email I get somebody either wants me to join there “Exclusive” membership site (only for me and 5000 other lucky people) or sell subscriptions to there membership site as an affiliate or a JV partner.

Listen, as a business model a membership site can provide a level of income stability rarely found in the world of Internet marketing.

Dan Kennedy has been preaching the “Continuity Business Model” for years. It is a time tested and proven money maker IF, the site continues to provide “Uniqueness” to its members.

This is where many of these membership fall abysmally short.

Most of these sites are trying to capitalize on the panic driven craze of Internet marketers for unique content. They are being sold as the new answer for making money by building the dreaded   “AdSense Site.”

The problems with these sites are many fold but still people flock to them choosing to live in denial that making money from AdSense just by throwing up pages has gone the way of the VHS recorder.

But these membership sites offer PLA exclusive content. (private label articles) you be saying!

Do they, I guess that would depend on your definition of “Exclusive.”

The memberships on these sites for the most part range from 350 to upwards of 1500 members all getting the same “Exclusive” content.

Yes each person should change the articles by adding some of there own content but lets be honest, the vast majority of people just cut and past the content “AS IS” and upload the pages to the Internet as if you win some award for how fast you can upload all your new PLA content.

If you’re trying to build an Internet based business for the long haul your content needs to …

  Be unique.

  Enrich the users search experience.

  Provide relevant information based on the search term used.

Remember  The Tortoise and the Hare ?  

The same moral applies to your success for making money from content sites on the “New” Internet.
